Just curious..who among us owns the most saddles?

Am I the only guy who has never bought a commercially available saddle new?

I bought a few sit drags
Bought an old trophy line
Won a kestrel

I started saddle hunting 15 yrs ago. I still have my original TL Ambush that I started with. After 8yrs in, I purchased another one as a spare for a hefty price. That was after TL went out of business and before anything new came out. In 2017 I bought another mesh saddle, AH Kite 2. I bought it for the built in waist belt to be used with the LWHC and to kind of preserve my Trophylines. So technically I have 3 and doubt I will buy another one anytime soon.

Give a good reason NOT to own 10 bows, 13 guns, etc? I mean, their money right?

I actually don’t think 13 guns is very many really when you think you might have a couple handguns, western rifle, brush rifle, a few shotties, .22, etc.

Nope, I started mid season last year with a DIY fleece diaper and RCH. Still running that setup but did get a different RCH. What I want doesnt exist yet but I saved up a few pesos and bought a new thread injector a couple weeks ago. Didnt someone mention other rabbit holes??
 
I gotta tell ya, if a thief ever connected the dots between high end hunting gear and the classifieds here and rokslide and AT, we’d all be in trouble. It occurred to me in the parking lot at a hunting spot the other day, that the gear was worth very near, maybe more than the trucks it was in. Nuts.

In my experience....98% of the “extra” guns, bows etc.....never get used and end up being expensive decorations(ie hoarding)
When I’m done with a bow...I sell it and buy another

I get it. If I had paid $300 for my kestrel I would be upset I spent the money over a sit drag!! Lol

Oh yeah, the Rokslide guys aren’t afraid to drop some serious coin on gear.

And [mention]redsquirrel [/mention] is the current leader in current possession of saddles

Well that’s you. I use every piece of gear i own.

Even take out my Grandpas 60 yo smooth bore 16 gauge to kill squirrels once every year.

I think it’s dumb to sell everything and buy new but i’d not tell you to not do that it’s your money. Things become more valuable to me the longer i own them.

I think I'm between 9 and 10.
 
I’ve actually thinned down some. Right now I have two phantoms, a kite, a sit drag, and a jx3.
