Kiwi Klimbers ultralight carbon spurs group buy

Okay so I'm going to need to be educated on this a little more. But from what I read the Kiwis come with titanium gaffs but those are Pole gaffs. I'm assuming if you need tree gaffs you're still going have to use steel gaffs. Will this Increase the weight closer to the wait of the Geckos? Can the ascenders only be used with the Kiwis or can they be used with both sets?

Yeah I’m out then Guess I’ll look around for Geckos but $600 hurts pretty bad lol. Might just buy another set of aluminum’s if I can’t find a deal on carbon

KiwiKimbers for $400 is because of the group buy discount. And that's just an estimate. G2 is asking if he should pursue a group buy on the Gecho spurs. Maybe the savings would be similar.

It would be nice to have an idea what the savings would be for a group buy on the geckos too. If 25 is the number you need to get a deal you might have enough guys to do a group buy on both. Do you have a count on how many here said they were in?

I wouldn't consider 330 lbs limit a school girl rating. The Kiwis could still come in higher.

IS that what the Kiwi's are rated at? I was wondering that.
 
Kiwi's come with 1.5" Titanium pole gaffs. But you can get them without gaffs and use Gecko gaffs. At least that's for their current offering anyway. Who knows what might be different in their newest design.
 
There won't be many big surprises. Most of have been posted on his social. I don't expect rating will decrease with the K2s. That is the big reason Gecko increased the rating on their latest version of carbon spurs.

If the straps are the hold up, tell him we'll take them without the straps.
