Light weight saddle

I sent this one out Friday, look at the size of that box next to a standard envelope. That box is 3" thick and you couldnt fit a tissue in that box, but shows you how small this can fold up.

Just got home and the Ken sling is here. It's dark but I couldn't resist strapping in and tethering to the ladder rack on the truck just to see how it feels.
It feels awesome and really is very high quality. I'll hopefully have time to fiddle with it more tomorrow. Certainly this week should allow me time to dial in my favorite settings.

I could throw some brush and leaves on it and back up into a funnel in the woods. .. I can see it now.

Seriously though, I'm looking over this sling and I really like it. It's what the sit drag wants to grow up to be. It seems to be exactly what I was looking for. More testing will confirm that, I'm sure. Can't wait to get it up in a tree.
It cradles me kinda like what I loved about the big buck sling but it's also sturdy enough with the belt to feel secure with lineman belt /flip line while climbing. I think in gonna like this thing and it weighs nothing

Shaun not sure what your demo is, but remember this is a hammock style camping chair. Looks like your feet are off the ground and I don't recommend doing that. Use at your own risk.

No, I've never seen this buckle before. It is a very nice buckle. Better than I expected.
I'm really impressed with this saddle, er, I mean hammock style swing seat.

It's possible that I'll attach some sort of back support like I do with other saddles, but I've hunted out of the top belt portion of the evo and out of the sit drag without anything added, so I may not. This seat feels better than any of the others I've sat in so far. But I just opened it last night and strapped in and went straight outside to test it out for five minutes. So my opinion about the saddle could change, although I doubt it. I'll be spending more time in it over the next week or so , so I can get a better feel for it. First impressions ,though, are that the saddle is comfy, lightweight, and well designed. Quality is definitely top notch.

There is no back support built in. Back support is not effective in my case unless the strap connects higher on the bridge. Its important to understand this wasn't an attempt to build a better sit-drag. I messed around with straps in my basement to understand what would work for me. I've never held or seen a sit-drag in person, and this was ordered before the sit-drag craze. I'm not knocking the sit-drag and I'm not competing against it or any other product. I simply had a min order to fulfill and gave others the opportunity to purchase what I wasn't going to use. That's why I stated in the beginning the dimensions, cause it was built with my needs in mind. This product is twice the price of a sit-drag, but I'm confident the quality and strength of materials used far exceed that of the sit-drag. I have no plans to mass produce this product. After some field use and feed back from guys on here, I might make some changes to it and place another order. I don't have the ability to "mod" it myself. As for right now, I'm very happy with it as is.

I understand. And I certainly appreciate the opportunity to purchase one of your spares. I only compared it to the sit drag because I know that some of guys on here are using them. To me, your seat is more like half of a more comfy big buck sling. With the improvements I would want to make to the big buck sling. As far as I can tell , you've come up with a HUGE winner in this thing. I'm in your debt
