hunting the sitdrag in a cypress swamp. No deer spotted yet, cold foggy wet morning here in VA. Here dogs running across the swamp, hopefully they will push one this way. Dog hunting is common around my way. Have to adapt and overcome during general firearms season

Its not all that, I just really wanted points for team 3. I hate that my buck didn't count. And I'm running out of season. I had to get time in when I could. I don't know if I'll be able to get out again this year.

What is all that white looking stuff in the pics? I think you used too much powder while checking the wind.

Congrats to all you guys. I haven't been able to hunt almost at all this year. I have a couple weeks left so I still have some time if I can get work under control.

Hey Essdub it's not too late! The 2nd rut is going on real heavy this year! I checked my camera and have 7 different bucks in one night. They even started scraping again. All the pics were at night but maybe one of them will show themselves?

Awesome. That gives me some hope. I haven't been on my land since the third week of October when I helped a friend get his first bow deer. Between work and family, I just haven't Gotten out there. I know trespassers are bad this year though because I found deer remains in October and I'm missing a couple trail cams from back of property. It's less than 200 yards from back door. Some people just don't want to be courteous
