Only ? I have is this new sound deadening rubbber on everything.
Rubber tends to be slippery in all sorts of hunting conditions.

Seems like it from the videos I have watched. It doesn't seem to take much sound out tho. Def not like a Stealth Strip.

So we all covet a new thing... but is it better... I love the predator and the $100 lower price tag. It is just the right size for me.

Are double steps better... Yes Win for Infalt sticks and home made sticks
Does the new stick stack better yes But Infalts sticks stack well and home made stick ok.
Are Dan O sticks cheaper and lighter... Yes... they win in price and weight

Which would you choose. If they had double steps... Lone wolf wins except for the price. No double steps... no buy for me.

I think it's a newer version of what was released with the original assassin according to @BassBoysLLP

The clue was "patented"....they still have the patent on the original assassin harness. If they sell a ton of Kuhnert platforms, they may consider making a better saddle tough...

This new stuff is not cast, may have already been mentioned but if so I missed it on this thread. It is machined from stock 6061. That's some seriously big pieces of aluminum sheeting getting cut down.

The Kuhnert is still cast. Andrae noted that he can make lighter with the water jet as expected...but how much does that cost?

At that price I am definitely out. To be frank I am a bit surprised they are that high but probably should not be. The sticks make a bit more sense to me but still...

I may bite the bullet and invest in the mini sticks. I can fit 4 of them stacked easily into my day pack along with my trophyline Ambush and Ameristep ring strap.

At the same time, I can get higher(step spread) with 8 Wild Edge Steps and also fit that in my day pack.

The "saddle" looks like a huge miss to me. Doesn't show it up close, but looks like it isn't anything other than a padded belt with a huge metal ring in the front.

Pot is being stirred over at the Beast.
Patent issues with the water jet process.
There is no pot being stirred. Dan said he is going to sit down with Andrae after the ATA show and discuss things with him. They are really good friends so I’m sure they will hash it out among themselves. The only pot stirring I see is people coming over here and stirring it up themselves. Let those guys work it out.

Come on now Dewey. What mustang said was innocent enough. There are actually multiple pages of conversations on there about patent infringement, it's an interesting conversation and I'm glad mustang pointed it out. I don't understand why people get so defensive between these two websites.

Not defensive at all. Just stating that Dan already posted that he and Andrae will work it out. It’s really none of our business. It’s beween them and it’s not really fair for any of us to speculate without knowing any facts.
