Na I never did. They felt about the same as the old sticks. Bigger steps and v brackets, so maybe a couple ounces heavier. It’s pretty cool how they stack together tho.
 
Well I almost had myself convinced to spend the coin on one ... but $20, admittedly is not breaking the bank, is not happening for me. In my opinion either do not post a price or honor it. Maybe a price range would have made more sense? But it says one price for 6 months and now it goes up. Do not get me wrong if it went down I would have no issue with that lol

To be fair didn't they change the manufacturing technique?
 
So how are you guys holding the sticks to the stand if you have it? Mine always bounce loose when using the strap as they show in their videos

Mine stay nice and tight. They are pretty tight with one strap but I also take the second strap and wrap it straight around them, going under the shoulder straps of course. Add a pack to the seat/shelf bungee it on and everything is rock solid.

Oh, didn’t even think of that. I’m using the compact with a fixed single aider. You using the full ones?

Yeah I've got the fulls. Kinda thinking I'd be better off with 6 compacts. Save the full ones for when I finally get a saddle

Oh I see, yeah no experience with the fulls. I only carry 4 of the compacts with the aiders. Not sure how well 6 will stay put. I know they say you can but I’ve put 6 on and they do pack but the seat doesn’t push down completely. I imagine it would still be alright but I haven’t carried 6 in the woods so I can’t verify.

Even for saddle hunting I love the compact sticks.

How did you get the new platform ? I thought they are just starting to sell them. Just curious.
