Lone Wolf Custom Gear

I’d say you’d be shaving at least 4 pounds between stand and sticks. Plus the way it packs is WAY less bulk and it’s gonna feel more like 10lbs less. I always liked my hand climber because it packs so tight and carries well. Now they have the advantages of a hang on that’s lighter and packs just as well. To me it’s a game changer and then some. It will never replace a saddle but I will surely be trying one out. Problem I see with the platform is it’s only a couple pounds less than the stand and is gonna be harder to figure out how to carry, but it is sweet that the sticks will pack onto it as well.
I love my LW Hand Climber too. Perfect world (for hang on stand) would be : hang on and DOUBLE step sticks the same weight and pack ability as my LWHC.

There is a post on you tube reviewing the Ambush. Said there will be weight limit of about 250 lbs. on it.

During Cody’s interview he said 300lbs for sticks and ambush. I guess we will see when it really comes to market.

That's the thing. Apparently Dan filed patents for the "process" not the "product". It's kind of interesting because I didnt know you could do that but, I agree nothing will come of it. Neither company wants the publicity or cost of fighting it out. They will figure it out.

Andre did the same thing with casting stands back when he first started Lone Wolf.

I'm sure Infalt is now wishing his stand were out in time for the ATA.

Andre mentioned at the show the new dual chamber wind-checker he's come out with and that he'd agreed to doing clinics with Infalt about "the wind and whitetails". Be interesting to see what happens with that when the dust settles.

Kunhert during his interview said the 250 lbs., it would make more sense for 300

More pic's posted on the new website of the new products. Including one of a couple decent deer mounts apparently sacrificed to show the stand in pack frame configuration to pack out head and cape. Can't see the practicality in that, but then again I've not killed a D'Aquisto sized deer I don't want to be dragging over logs/rocks to get it back to the truck.

The price of the new sticks, platform and stand may not be for everyone. But for those who think it's not justified, you need to check the price of aluminum these days with cost increase due to tariffs, as well as the fact that most machine shops (in my region at least), have set up charge as well as $130-$150/hr set shop rate for jobs like those. Those sticks are pretty slick if you ask me.

Looks like super nice gear, but the price tag is a bit much... Price tag is double what you'd pay for an Assault. Makes more sense to lose 4lbs than spend an extra 250

I will be buying the short sticks to replace my old lone wolfs. Really no need for other stuff but those arrow inserts might wind up on my shopping list once some reviews have been done showing they help

That insert idea has been done before, I don't know the name but that isn't a new idea. I'm sure you can find some info out there

And depending on what dan and lone wolf figure out about the patent... it might be over before it begins

Have been getting lighter and more efficient every year...was eyeing that new stand/stick combo pretty hard, even though I'm running an Assault and short sticks with a rock harness. Have been sitting in and tweaking my Aero Kite/predator system for the last two days in my yard. Think I'll be spending that money on other things now, boys!! Just as light and comfortable as it could be! Awesome! Never looking back!
