I admire(d) Andre for his hunting ability and for what his products have done for the hunting community. Even his run in's with the law did little to take the shine off his accomplishments, in my eyes. But, I've been thinkin...The whole Lone Wolf brand confusion thing stinks. Legal? Yeah. Good business? Probably. Shady? Definitely. It looks to me more like Andre is trying to promote a product for sale that does'nt currently exist. Dan actually has several stands being field tested. Those rough prototypes Andre had at the ATA tell me he was trying to beat Dan to the punch. He is slick. I'll give him that. Dan has never spoken ill against Andre on 'The Beast'. Even if they weren't as close as they used to be, Dan has always defended Andre and called him his friend. If this plays out that Dan is telling the truth (is right on his thoughts with the patent infringement), it will probably matter little to most potential buyers, these days. However, there are still a few of us out here, who value true friends more than money. Whose word is as good as gold and whose handshake is all the contract we need. Friendships are hard to attain and harder to maintain in this dog eat dog world in which we live. What ever happened to "til the END in friEND"? Its always about ME, ME, ME and the MONEY. What have you done for me lately? I came from a different time and place. I am thankful for that. Lord forgive me if I am wrong, but from sittin here in this lazy chair, it appears that with friends like Andre who needs enemies? This may all seem like drama. A private matter that should be left between Dan and Andre. But there are real humans and a wealth of potential buyers (I may be one of em) who may be affected by the outcome. If this was a private matter it would be none of my business. But since, the way it plays out will effect my future purchases from either Dan or Andre, that makes it my business.
