Lone Wolf Custom Gear

Honestly, if the whole system comes in at $400, I could see it (stick and platform), That would be around $200 for each item. I know the sticks will be around $200. I would assume the platform to me in that ballpark as well.

I am curious to see if they take the prestige route and try for all the high rollers who will buy it just because it is LW. I believe the number of buyers is greatly less when you start talking about prices like $400 for a single item.

I am hopin gfor better news than that. I've got $$$ sitting on go, but not $400.

I would love to keep my money in tethrd's hands, but it doesn't appear that they desire to make a larger platform.

$400 for the sticks and platform makes much more sense. This system may make me reconsider using sticks. And they offer 2 sizes in sticks also which is nice.

To say they won't sell even at 400 is just not true. There are guys buying assassin's at astronomical prices. The company knows they can charge that because they will get sold. Guarantee even if they are 400 this forum will be flooded with them in a matter of months and they know it too. Not everyone has the interest or capability in a DIY platform.

Glad to see additional options and additional people pushing the bar.
One thing I already don't like about the stick.....the standoffs rotates, unless there is some sort of locking function I'm not seeing. They rotate to accomodate the side stacking method. This is a personal preference thing and a trade of one has to chose on.

All Lonewolf sticks rotate - and it is to accommodate irregular shaped trees.

Awful lot of speculation outta one "heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend."

I'll be interested in seeing what's on their site come 2pm central. Might reschedule my lunch.
Same buddy is telling me 275 now so I dunno lol Best to wait and see. I agree that 400 would be friggin insane.

That sounds more reasonable, fit and finish looks better than tetherd I would expect a bigger price tag, but $400 is nuts. Andrae mentioned a proprietary sound deadening coating whole the predator comes bare. Added cost there. I'll probably order either way as platform size I think is just what I desire but they would be planning on the Yeti pricing model at 400.

Should have seen the facebook page. Couldn't even believe some of the stuff that was posted.

I'm with you on supporting the guys who deserve to be supported. What some of these guys have done for deer hunting will live on longer than them. Least I can do is support their products they put a ton of time into designing, testing, and creating for us to enjoy. I have zero interest in other sticks after getting dan's, but that stand is really tempting. Especially when Dan hasn't released his yet.

I need a bigger platform for saddle hunting. Predator was too small for my waterski feet. Was hoping the lone wolf would be bigger, but it doesn't look like it. Will wait for the specs.

No way that thing goes for $400
As far as the reported negativity on the Beast......Doesn't matter where you go there are always negative people. Especially on Facebook and why I avoid it completely. Guys seem to have a short memory as enough of that same stuff has gone on over here as well. Anytime there is competition and loyalty negative stuff will be posted. Really no way to get away from that. People have a right to their opinions as long as it's not outright bashing which I know Red doesn't allow here as well.

I think a lot of it has to to with Andrae selling Lone Wolf and then later along with Cody worked with XOP and basically duplicated the products producing them in China. That rubbed many the wrong way especially the guys who prefer USA made stuff. Sounds like Andrae kept the Lone Wolf name but wondering what this does to the current Lone Wolf company? There is a lot of confusion about how there can be two completely different companies producing LW products. I would be interested to hear what the buyers of the current Lone Wolf company have to say about this.

Just to be clear I'm not taking any sides on this and respect all involved. Competition is good for the consumer and in the end we are the ones that win with so many great products to choose from. It's a great time to be a mobile hunter.

I really like how the seat of the stand can be used as a shelf for your back pack. that was one thing I hated about my climber was I had no where to put my pack. That idea impresses me. I also like that the sticks attach to the saddle platform. Ditch the LW strap with a Cosssuth versa strap, this is made to toe hook, I think it is a homerun if the price does leave me feeling like one of Bill Cosby's dates.

Talked to Andre at ATA for a moment today about the new assassin platform.
The current model will weigh 5 lbs. and be priced around $275 range.

“If” it was made with the new technology they have for making tree stands it would be in the 4 lbs. range
he did not say what that price would be on that version.

Is that MSRP? And is it bundled with a saddle?

I would imagine it would bundle like the old assassin. You can't hardly sell a stand without a TMA harness, so I would think this would most likely come with something.

There live of Facebook now with wired to hunt
They’ll be a rope option for sticks.

That depends entirely on the channel through which you're trying to sell the product. If it is consumer direct they don't have to apply for any TMA certification. TMA cert. is really only required by the big box stores for insurance liability purposes.

Platform 14”x18” and 4.2lbs according to Cody. No price yet. sticks integrate stack on platform just like the stands.
