I copied you! I have mine loose and spread my feet to tighten it. If you know what I mean. Oh and thanks! Just want you to know you have helped me out a lot and I appreciate what you've been doing.

I know exactly what you mean. You are very welcome.

Have you tried the double bungee foot attachment? I plan to try that first, but curious if you have compared both the strap and the bungee @Adrena123

Yes We did. I installed a rubber one really tight to test and it worked, but not as good as the strap. It still "gave" to much. I think a 3" wide one could work (if they make one) but the strap works well. The way I see it is the thinner the material across the top of the feet, the more your feet will want to rotate around it. Heels coming up. Also anything on the back of the ankle is extra stuff i don't want to deal with.

I like this black rubber heavy duty bungee for my foot strap. Also don’t like anything behind my heels.

I ended up using the hard ware that came with the LW, the the straps to carry it. I cut off the end with the buckle to have the strap. The use the 2 stoppers to put back on and still be able to adjust it.

Good idea... make sure the buckles don't make noise on the metal

what is the best way to make foot loops for the hand climber?

I bought a set of cheap hammock straps from Amazon and cut one ~ in half. One end can be used as a gear hanger in the tree, and the other end can be your foot strap. The only additional piece you need to do this is a 1" tri-glide.

Two birds with one stone, good thinking.

We have and it works great as a solid platform once you use a strap with an ocb buckle around the platform base. Truthfully though, we use 4 ameristeps (ros) on a strap with ocb buckle when using sticks. We feel hauling sticks in is enough metal and weight to deal with. We also strap the platform when using it as a climber once at height. Sometimes not all the time. It is rock solid though, when its strapped.
I use my assault hand climber top too. It’s an awesome platform
