We have a thing our state wild life can issue called a “special use permit”. It’s usually not expensive (often free) and just requires a couple pieces of paperwork to be filled out for state approval. I recommend someone perhaps calling and inquiring if Michigan offers one such permit…. Not sure if you or @Horn would be the person(s) who was responsible for such…Just read thru a few things. Looks like bows in a state park or recreational area is out.

shoot, you've probably had a colder winter than us! I love 30 miles from lake Michigan and I bet we haven't had 2 inches of snow all year lolI’m not a Michigander (cold weather, who does that lol) however if I can assist yall in anyway at all please let me know.
