New kestrel (kite Mesh) listed on their web site

Nice review but I do believe the buckles have to be quiet when synched for those walking in wearing their harnesses. It doesn’t appear the linemen’s belt loops were moved at all... I suppose the breathability and weight are this harnesses strengths. Thanks for the video!

And I'm pretty sure I mentioned that in the video

Great review. I can't wait to see the one on the Mantis. I haven't order any thing yet. I still have my kestrel, Guido's Web and Treesuit so I am in no hurry. I might order the Predator platform. I don't like the buckles ethier but I do like the quality of the kite.

This guy says the sewing and details are better than the Mantis, doubt he has he even touched it since it hasn't shipped yet.

This is true. A lot of the images on the Tethrd website are prototype images. It was the best we could do on short notice. The production pieces are beautiful and have additional features and quality not expressed in the prototypes.

I found that interesting as well.

I find the guy full o ****! Listen to him carefully and what he says. Either he has a kestrel or reads the web a lot he brought up things a new saddle hunter wouldn’t know about the Kestrel
Better sewing than a product he never touched? Laughable

Thanks for the speedy video @DaveT1963. I didn’t see anything I wanted the Kite for over the Kestrel I already have either. Maybe if I didn’t already have a saddle I’d consider it but I didn’t like what I saw with the new buckles. That was my main turn off.

Just watched the review @DaveT1963. I appreciate it. Was debating selling my Kestrel for a Kite but seeing how noisy those buckles were has me holding back. And also seeing the linesman loops were not moved forward much was a disappointment as well. The loosened molle loops would definitely be nicer!

Stop being so jumpy about offended people. Lol. I am hoping for a Mantis vs Kite vs Kestrel vs Sitdrag review!

With as many guys as have bought all three, you will probably get a video reviewing all but the sit drag.
I don’t think the sit drag really is comparable with a manufactured saddle due to the diy and multi-piece aspect. And that’s coming from a die-hard SitDrag’r
