I received mine today, I hope to record and post a review soon. Like all New Tribe stuff the product itself is very well made and it will hunt.... some of the design aspects I like, others not so much.

I may wait until my mantis comes and do a side by side video review.

I couldn’t agree more @DaveT1963 . I just got home & picked it back up & am wondering if I’m going to like the new buckle setup (or lack there of). I like where the linesman belt loops are & bridge loops are positioned great. Molle webbing is looser, much improved. Biggest concern for me at this point is the buckle on the waist. I never really worried about the weight, I was wearing my kestrel not carrying it. That said kite feels much lighter. Oh well not much else to add without hanging in it.

Did Red ever do a video on his climbing aider ? If so I guess I missed it. Lol

He did, but it was in the middle of another thread, and I can’t remember which one.

Dave does the waist belt open up all the way so you don't have to step through the belt? Thanks

This was an improvised version I came up with for saddlepalooza with bullman steps. I had to pack light.
