New saddle I hadn’t seen...

No more stepping thru ur bridge is 1 of the things they are calling a benefit....for 1...who really still steps thru ur bridge? I thought everybody would have figured out to put it on over ur head.....for 2, after 3 hard days of hunting and very little sleep u can't tell me that u wouldn't get the hammock material twisted up...put it over ur head and not realize it's got a twist in it at 4am in the dark. I've put my regular saddle on backwards and upside down on accident when sleep deprived.... luckily with a regular saddle u will know u have it on wrong almost instantly as apposed to that 1 which u would have to set ur weight into it before u would notice more than likely....the price is crazy high for what ur getting.
ENO single nest 29.99, klik belt with cobra d ring $79.99 enough amsteel to replace the polyester rope on the hammock maybe $30... in theory it’s way expensive but once you pay someone to make that video and sew that belt/pouch into the middle of the hammock it’ll run ya about $215. The mark up from there is usually because the bigger companies have to pay that high dollar specialty liability insurance. Not sure if this company has that or not. The videos are top quality though

Admit it, you want one lol
Ok....so all of our regular saddles have molle loops on the top right? Now imagine wearing ur normal saddle and u have this also....spread it around ur body like it shows but cut it so u have the material from ur head to the molle on ur saddle....3 or 4 g hooks or whatever to attach the upper material to ur normal saddle. I've had this ideas for a while but haven't made it.... Roll up back support.

I do like how you have the back rest and saddle all integrated into one unit. It does look comfortable. I agree that it may make you feel like you're in a bit of a cocoon though.

In theory if you loosen the cruzr belt strap it’ll pull up high like back support. The aerohunter Merlin will and almost any 2 panel saddle on the market

I thought about this as well but then realized I already have a tethrd back band thing. way more light weight and do you really need all that material? that being said I bet it would be comfortable and worth trying if someone makes one.

I am just messing with you. And I agree with everything you said! I tried something similar to this a couple years ago with the idea of camping out in the tree I wanted to hunt over night it ended up being a giant mess. Not just from putting it on upside down but just all the nylon ripstop bunching up underneath you. And talk about noise! People think cordura is loud? Hammock nylon is pretty much the loudest material on earth and it would obviously rub against its self any time you move. And there is no safety factor built in except a piece of amsteel on a d ring. All the other amsteel looping around would be down by your knees and up at your shoulders. If you slipped or something failed, You’d fall through before it caught you and the amsteel d ring waist belt would literally catch all of your weight. Again this looks good in theory just not in practice.

I like it.!!! I saw videos of guys tying up fleece jackets and polyester sheets to make this exact thing. Back it with a 29.99 RCH and some double braid rope bam! You’re right though. I still have to admit this is good marketing. I like listing the strength of the leg straps as 3000 lbs but they connect with g hooks that break at 156 lbs.....

I currently use this tree stand backrest and it is my favorite thing I've tried by far....it just isn't the best to carry in and out....I think it can be replicated with just mesh and webbing (no spring steel "frame") and attach/detach from the top molle. If u configure the webbing correctly it would give support just like this thing. Roll up like this drey thing.... @always89y are u there?

I have two of those at the house I used to use with my old hang on stand. Never thought about using them in reverse!

Already on it sir! We have a thing in the works...not like you thing, or the other thing, but a different thing...to do the same thing.

Luvin the camo by the way. "Subdued Pimp"

This saddle is a great idea and I wish the company the best!
With that said, does it turn into a sail with a strong breeze? Im already Koala Bearing the tree on windy days. Hate to have my hammock saddle pulling me from my death grip. Luckily, I gave girth on my side. What about those suffering from girth deficiency @Red Beard ?
