If you have some blunts you can toss out a nerf football or something and use your blunts to bounce it around. There are similar targets for .22LR plinking; with a 10/22 you can see how long you can keep it in motion.I had my kid go and place the target random in the yard so I didn't know where it would be

Yeah I have 2 of the DM bloodlines they’re good but I can see they won’t outlast my rhinehart 3d’s but then again nothing will.I’m really enjoying the new Delta Mackenzie Bloodline XL target. I hope it holds up well. It seems to be a little more anatomically accurate than my old Glendale target. For example the Glendale looks like a square box with a head and rear of a deer attached to it; whereas, the bloodline has not seam on the body section, which creates a more realistic looking deer to me. I can see the shoulder imprint on the target similar to a live animal and that’s a great point of reference when practicing too
The bloodline xl seems like a better target than the Glendale overall so far. One minor issue is the antlers. I will need to glue the antlers in as they work their way out after a days worth of shooting. The legs on this target feature a plastic insert with a twist lock connection. I’m hoping the added support will help it hold up better.
I’m hoping to start taking elevated shots this week as season starts Oct 1st. I have not been practicing from height like I had wanted to over the summer. After some slight additional headaches ache and two weeks off i returned and bareshaft tuned my arrows. I finally have my arrows flying like darts. Turns out I needed to drop a spine.
Fletchings cover up a multitude of flight issues. I’m just glad I have a better eye for arrow flight now. Every time I think I know something about traditional archery I get humbled again. Don’t overlook the basics, perfect arrow tune is everything.

Which rhinehart target do you have? They have a $300 deer target but the competition targets that looks amazing are like $600-800 and I can’t justify that lolYeah I have 2 of the DM bloodlines they’re good but I can see they won’t outlast my rhinehart 3d’s but then again nothing will.
I have the coyote, 2 woodland boars, a strutting Tom, 2 xl blocks, and a black bear. And yeah they expionsive but I go with the woodland series when I can but they’re worth it, my xl blocks have been outside here in LA for almost 6 years now and they’re doing better than my delta Mackenzie buck and it hasn’t even been out for a year yet.Which rhinehart target do you have? Flight and placement looked great to me. Looks like you're ready for killin time.I decided to record the first shot of the day from 15. I’m so much more pleased with the arrow flight. It is unreal the difference a tuned arrow makes.

Just started this for this season. Have been shooting off and on all year but testing my total “static sight settings” with a dual up pin with the top at 25 and the bottom proving out to be at 40 yards. Shooting a 65.5lb EVO XF 30 at 27” DL, 476gr. TAW with 200gr. up front (100gr. brass inserts, 100gr. BH). View attachment 90400
These arrows are actually a lot lighter than I want ~450 grains so I have some more coming in hopefully this week. I’ll bareshaft cut and tune them before fletching. They should be back at 620-650 grains and I won’t have to change broadheads.Flight and placement looked great to me. Looks like you're ready for killin time.
Are you counting that as a good shot or low? On my Glendale buck I had trouble picturing true vitals location
