Shall we talk shotguns?

I get to shoot against guys that have guns like those all the time.

Maybe someday...
Not trying to be that guy but is it worth it? Does a 10,000 gun make you shoot better? I just haven’t got bitten by that bug yet. I’m having trouble breaking the 2 g barrier haha looking at this gun stores website I could buy anyone from 5 to 10 of the guns I want from there for 10,000 haha by all means have at it! I’m not one to judge

Not all will make you shoot better but some will. A dedicated gun to a discipline and yes you will pick up a couple x’s on score card. I went from a Browning Citori with trap setup that I would change the combo height on to shoot sporting to a dedicated sporting gun with the F3 and picked up several birds per round. It just points better, swings smoother and stays on target better that the Citori after the shot. A gun with the proper fit is way more important than brand, having said that when you shoulder a high quality hand crafted scatter gun you definitely feel the difference. My Citori feels no where near as warm to hold than the Blaser. You’ll know when you pick up THE one. It just fits.

I’m also accepting of shooting high ends guns of yours haha jkjk I’d be scared to hold it. You’re definitely right on gun fit. I’ve been learning that quite a bit having shot 5 to 10 different shotguns in the last couple weeks.

lol. I keep it pretty well used. The wife and I bought thousands of rounds before they went extinct. Still shooting on 2 year old boxes.

I’ve been able to find it for the most part. Paying way more for it now though! Wish I would have done the same thing.

Ya are both into it pretty heavy and saw the writing on the wall. We put roughly 20k rounds back and glad we did. Prices have gotten crazy at local clubs. At one point I was having to give our club flats to get by till they would get a shipment in. Had pretty good deal going to. I give them 5 flats and if they had to open a single box they gave me 6 flats back. Things seem to have gotten back to normal somewhat except price. They are charging 12.99 a box for 12ga and 15.99 for sub gauge stuff.

Dang! It’s a little cheaper here. I’ve been finding cheap Winchester shells for 8.5$ a box. Then most of it 12 or 20 is 10 or 11 dollars a box.
What are flats??

Anyone have thoughts on the franchi instinct series?
I don't have the Franchi instinct series but have had a model 712 for almost 20 years. I love that gun. It fits me perfectly and I shoot lights out with it.

I don't think you could go wrong with one as long as it fits you well.

Hey thanks! It’s beautiful gun too, also the 7 year warranty helps. Just looking at the beretta 686 in 28 gauge as well.

X2 for the 712! I love that gun. My next shotgun will be a s/s or o/u though. I like my buddy's 686 white onyx in 20 ga

Well went to a fine gun shop today. Held a 30,000$ Shotgun, I do forget what it was. Held stuff from antique Parker’s, lc smiths, Remingtons. Couple new benellis, brownings, beretta. Probably held 20-30 shotguns. Love a good trip to the gun store. Definitely gave me much to think on for the next shotgun

Bought some older reloading tool. Pretty pumped! Might start reloading brass hulled black powder

Those roll crimpers both 12 gauge or a 12 and 20? Hollar at me if you don't like em, would like to have one.
Both 12! I just got them so I’ll probably keep them for a while. Sorry partner! You can honestly find them on eBay pretty cheap!

You can but I've heard they're from Russia. 50/50 shot they even get delivered. (Before these most recent events)
Hmm I’m not sure! Idk much about them tbh. I think mine were just a reloading set from some random eBay person. Idk haha
