Thanks. If it continues I'll try to pin it down. Just need input from those who are having problems since I'm not.
 
I hit a few hiccups with performance today.

One other thing has happened a lot since this whole "slow site" thread started. I get logged out alot. Just sitting here reading and then click to the main forum and I'm logged out. Not a big deal other than I thought maybe it would help.

Is the performance issue related to trying to authenticate me as a user? And it is timing out and logging me out???

Don't know, not my game. But thought it may help you diagnose, Red.

Thanks for the info. I have gotten logged out a few times on my home computer and I can't figure out why. I did a bunch of updates yesterday hoping that would fix it. I have one more to do but I don't think that is the problem. I'm working on it everyone so bear with me, and keep me updated if you have problems or if they resolve. Thanks!

Any reason why I get logged out all the time even though I check the box to stay logged in?
 
It has been a lot slower for me today than in the past. I'm on my iPhone on safari

Not sure. This just started happening recently. I'm troubleshooting it.
 
Mark me down as having issues as well. The site is very slow to load and I randomly get signed out. This happens a lot at work when using Firefox on a PC. Everything works well on Tapatalk.
 
Full web page is slow for me. It takes minutes to load. Tapatalk is fine.
 
Also noticing sometimes the mark forums read doesnt work, even though its checked. Hitting the button will clear all unread, but its not doing it automatically like before. Not complaining Red, just helping you trouble shoot. :cool:
 
I just spoke with the hosting company and they did a couple things that will hopefully resolve these problems. Please keep me updated here if the problems persist guys.

Oh, and if it is still slow, try clearing your browsers cache and cookies first.
 
Seems to be working waaaaaaay faster for me. I'll pay attention to it over the next couple days and send you feedback.

BB- I have one update to do for the main site, I noticed some things aren't loading correctly (everytime I update they says things will work, but they don't :evil: )

The entire site, main and forum, is actually running way slower and worse for me today. Looks like it is a good thing I'll be snowed in on Saturday to try to get this worked out.
 
The site continues to run much faster for me. I'm still getting logged out, but it's more predictable now. I'll log in, go to "unread" or "new" posts and usually get logged out when I try to write my first post. After I log in the second time it doesn't happen again. Weird.

Keep up whatever you're doing. It seems to be working.
