Coast to coast…
Can the entire bridge be reversed? I see in the photos the tag end is on the right side. I'm lefty and would prefer it on the left. Can it be switched?Thats one of the benefits of the new bridge is it is user replaceable.
I had an idea for something like the comfort channels a while back. More like daisy chain sewn into the bridge loops. I quickly discounted the idea because it would require adding two carabiners to my system. When I saw thes it was like duh how easy is that. One could replicate the comfort channels pretty easy. I haven’t tried it but a zip tie would probably be close if you knew where you wanted them to ride. When I order what is to be mine it will get zip tied into my favorite setting never to move again.I like the high medium and low notches. Already thinking about how I could make these on my current saddle, wouldn't take much, maybe two small pieces of rope wrapped around and tied to make three distinct sections....
I guess none of the insiders can view this thread based on the hubbub in Dave's thread but if there are any, I'm curious how well those comfort channels stay in place? It appears to me the bridge would pop out of those channels rather easily and you'd experience the nanosecond of death that happens from time to time with the reinforced bridges. But maybe not?
When you see one in person it’ll seem so simple. Once you weight the saddle it stays in whatever setting you had it in. It’s not just a cloth bump. It’s rigid.I guess none of the insiders can view this thread based on the hubbub in Dave's thread but if there are any, I'm curious how well those comfort channels stay in place? No comfort channels needed if you girth hitch a prusik on one side and then tie a girth hitched knot on the other bridge loop...

For the Sit Drag Guys
I came up with an easy mod that keeps the Sit Drag in place without sewing a belt to it. First, as a bridge, I use 8mm accessory cord girth hitched to one side and run through a girth hitched 6mm prusik on the other side. (Red Circle) This allows you to shorten the bridge for the walk in and...saddlehunter.com
The girth hitches on the bridge loops tighten once loaded and hold the bridge where you want it. Have been using this adjustable bridge setup for a couple years now.
But a girth hitch doesn’t move easily right?

sounds like some controls/automation lingo
If you are sitting with all of your weight in the saddle, the girth hitches will not move on you. If you want to adjust, take some of your weight off of the saddle, adjust, sit.
Consider the Phantom Comfort Channels as "digital" adjustment while my adjustable bridge with girth hitched ends has "analog" adjustment, haha.

You would think they would pop out easy but I have not experienced that at all. If I'm in the saddle in a tree they just stay put, no bridge slipping out and into a different spot. Once at hunting height just check to make sure you are in the channel you want to be in and adjust if not and your good go as far as my experiences are concerned.I guess none of the insiders can view this thread based on the hubbub in Dave's thread but if there are any, I'm curious how well those comfort channels stay in place? The shape is more like a sit drag. I have been tempted to buy a Mantis but thought it was not really designed to sit on. Anything which is easy to sit on can be leaned against. The converse is not true, IMHO. The Phantom should be much better. I am really tempted.
