Yeah, a size 2 mesh kestrel with "fixed" molle loops, an amsteel bridge, and step through leg straps would be my perfect saddle I think.

That would be awesome. I think they already make each part in batches then sit down and put it together. Basically someone could take everything you chose throw it in a tote and send it down the line. Doesn’t seem like it would be that hard. Everything looks easy from a chair sitting in front of a computer. I actually asked about a mesh version at saddlepalooza and the response I got was it’s being considered. No one said it was already being tested. It’s says a lot about New Tribe that they were already testing an improved version of a saddle that there really wasn’t anything wrong with to start with. Especially when they are being ordered as fast as they can make them.

Are the legs straps weight bearing like the original Kestrel?
 
By the way Great review of the new mesh saddle. Not sure if calling it a Kestrel is correct?

As far as I know there is no other name yet. The design is basically the same, just different components. So it's not as significant as the change from the Evo to the Kestrel for example.

I think this would be a great idea. I think the option to customize your saddle the way you want it, even down to the lineman's belt and tether components would be huge for a company. Lots of people I'm sure would pay to have it the way they want.

Get em both! Heck I have every TL tree saddle made, a kestrel, and just ordered a mantis and I’m gonna use em all this season. If you love saddle hunts it’s ok to have three or 4 different “girlfriends” / now to check out a guidos web, another TL, a sit drag......

Having a size 14 I would like to see that size boot being used with the leg straps.
