Yes, figure I can bunch it up if I want.So are you going to use the entire yard to make the hammock seat?

fleece.
Front to back, if you do left to right it will stretch a lot when you sit down in it.@DaveT1963,
How do you orient the stretchy part of the fleece? Top to bottom or left to right?
Thanks!
I did the stretch front to back as well figuring that I didn’t want my lanyard to have any additional stretch in it and with extra stretch going front to back I figured it should give some ease to hip pinch as it would stretch around it, maybe? Idk, what I figured anyway.@DaveT1963,

front to back
Right. If you pull on it one way it stretches less then if you pull on it the other way. So the long stretch way I have going from my knees to back and the short stretch way from bridge end to bridge end.For the life of me, I can’t figure out how you would align fleece to stretch “front to back”. It seems to me that the lines of fiber run horizontal or vertical, when holding the fabric up stretched out.

If verticals is the material directionally going form your knees to your butt and then up your back and horizontal is going from tied end (bunch end) to tied end......then yes. So if your sitting in the saddle front to back is from in front of you (under your thighs) running to behind you back and side to side is from hip to hip or the tied ends.So front to back means vertical, correct? I am confused with “front to back” term.
Thanks all for replies.
So I ordered several yards of fleece and rip stop back when this thread began and played with it a little bit this summer but, then as always happens on this website new ideas and toys started being discussed and scavenged the continuous loops and bridge I was using for other projects and kind of forget about the fleece saddle.
Well yesterday I decided to hunt in the fleece saddle I made and WOW. I have never been that comfortable in either my Kestrel or sit drag. I am seriously considering selling my Kestrel. It also helped that I finally got to try out my Predator since my son wasn't hunting last night. Between the two of them it was my most comfortable hunt to date.

Haha thats awesome, I can't believe more people don't try it, if you don't like it, it's not like your out a lot of cash or anything, sell the kestrel, lol.
