Yep. I agree with @DaveT1963 on this one. I love my Kestrel and Sophia @ newtribe came on and spoke with much grace and poise. I was impressed.. Then a few others ranted and I was unimpressed....

I appreciate the all the work that New Tribe has done as well as all the work Tethrd has put into improving concepts. These are concepts that many on the forum have contributed to. No pissing match needed!

I will support both companies as long as they can act in a decent manner.

I made the same comment the last time Sophia said something on this forum. Full of grace. A good spokes person.

Trophyline HAD a mesh saddle for years.

Anyway, I think this has run its course. I recommend, if we can all agree, this thread and the other be killed and we all come back together. As hard as I was on Bobby, I still believe he is a good guy, passionate about what he believes, and thus I don't fault him for that. I am sure, most of us would get along well around a camp fire and have far better things to discuss.

Red my vote is to kill these two threads and start the process of coming back together. Hopefully, others will feel the same way.

I wholeheartedly agree with Dave on this, let’s just let it go and move on.
We’re Saddle Hunters, we’re better than this.

I think this thread needs some levity...
Here is a croc, carrying a baby croc :)

@flinginairos said something about a saddle made from dental floss. DIY

His exact words after handling the Mantis....”good lord how much lighter these things gonna get?! Next big thing will be tying dental floss .... to hang from the tree!!”

Aero Hunter has a handful of Pro Staff hunters who help the public learn about saddle hunting and how to use our products. They are unpaid friends who believe in our products and want to see them succeed. Sparrowhawk and Boswell are speaking for themselves, out of loyalty to the products they love and promote.

The position of New Tribe/Aero Hunter on competition is, the more the merrier. Product design involves a lot of cross-fertilization from many sources. I know what it took for us to come up with our own entry into this market. Lots of input from hunters, a strong foundation in our decades of expertise in building life-safety harnesses, and a series of prototypes that gave us direction and refinement. It’s a lot of work. The people at Tethrd, Guido’s, Arc and Trophyline surely have similar stories.

Products with the same purpose will have a lot in common. I energetically agree that it’s better for hunters to have a choice, so I welcome competition, even when our own work shows up in the products of other companies. It will drive improvement and variety for all the hunters we serve. And Aero Hunter is not afraid—we’ll just get better.

Enough said.

My company has new saddle in production, weighs only 14 oz, has no leg straps or waist belt or mesh, or webbing, or buckles, or ropes.
"The Sloth" coming July 1!
I heard Spiderman will soon be selling climbing equipment. Now won't that be soo cool.
I also heard Superman will be selling flying capes.

Very well said Sophia. I would "LIKE" this twice if I could!

Very well spoke,

It seems the Kestrel has a lot of modified sit drag, tree suit, Greens tree saddle in it.

I absolutely agree. Saddles will have many of the same features.

even when our own work shows up in the products of other companies.

You keep saying this. It’s a nice way to say it. Some others said it in a more negative way.

And Aero Hunter is not afraid—we’ll just get better.

I absolutely agree. You have a very high quality saddle.
I was the lucky winner of the predator Kestrel at Saddleplooza. Thank you very much for supporting the event. I look forward to many years of service from my Kestrel.

I guess Sophia ends this Thread with 33 likes... Maybe a record . Let's close it Red. New Tribes is a great company. It ends better than we thought it would. Thanks to the co owner of New tribes.
