What do you want to know about the Tethrd Mantis?

The rope is not Samson Predator.

Predator rope is a 6k lb double braid camo climbing rope. Our rope is a 6k lb double braid camo climbing rope. However getting Predator factory spliced would have cost nearly DOUBLE the price.

We dropped the brand name but kept the strength. We all end up with a better product for a better price.

I’m glad to hear. Sampson dies in the end and also broke his ropes multiple times.

Interesting, how tough is the outer sheath on the rope Tethrd sourced? Like, for some comparisons of the ropes I own, if you are familiar with them, the HSS rope being super soft, Predator being kinda medium, Sterling HTP a little harder, and the PMI sport rope is super hard and durable.

The first two don't hold up to a Ropeman 2 really at all, HTP does ok, the PMI is pretty indestructible. I get that you guys are selling Ropeman 1 but I have a couple 2's. I like the higher rating of the Ropeman 2 since I am not perfect about keeping some slack out of my system at all times.

I'm looking to redo my tether/lineman belt with better rope and I want to try and splice it myself but I have been unable to find a good rope that isn't bright orange.
 
Quick ?, I may have missed it. The leg straps, can they be unhooked, then re-hooked when putting on the saddle? my size 13 boots are a pain to get thru my rock climbing harness. Having leg straps that can be buckled/unbuckled is a big deal for me. I thought in one of the video's that the hook just slide in/out.?

You are correct that they unhook. Huge selling feature if you ask me.
