Quick ?, I may have missed it. The leg straps, can they be unhooked, then re-hooked when putting on the saddle? my size 13 boots are a pain to get thru my rock climbing harness. Having leg straps that can be buckled/unbuckled is a big deal for me. I thought in one of the video's that the hook just slide in/out.?
thanks

Yes they unhook. No buckles to click together either. Very easy to do!

As a complete noob to saddle hunting why are there different attachment points for the linesman belt and the bridge? Couldn't you clip the linesman belt to the same loops as the bridge? Sorry if this a stupid question.

You could yes.

The linesman belt is at your hips. This supports you at the mid section of your body while you are working ie climbing. The bridge is hooked up and runs under your butt so to speak so you can sit or lean.

I like having dedicated linesmans loops for separation between carabiners. When deploying a secondary linesmans rope to navigate around limbs I attach it to the bridge loops. That puts some distance between carabiners to keep them from making noise. That worked well for me on the kestrel. Hoping the mantis with the larger more forward linesman loops will do the same.

IMO it is safer and more convenient to have dedicated loops for each. For me the bridge loops would fall too far forward to work well as lineman's loops.

I figure a man’s word is his warranty.

I would like to think so. Probably wouldn’t be a dealbreaker for me if there is no warranty but it would be peace of mind to know that the products would be stood behind no matter what within reason.

I’ll go out on a limb and say Greg and Ernie would take care of any issues if one came up. Solid dudes!!
