Working out

Started the Keto lifestyle last week. I’m 5’10” and started at 215. Down 6 lbs in one week, now to add in the exercise. Goal is 190 by bow season. At 50 years old I think that’s a reasonable goal. Main issue is no fat in my legs, butt or arms, just my belly! Hope to make it go away! Biggest road block is work! Constant travel is a killer!!!
 
Been lifting since last August - now focused on cycling (prep for our Hotter then Hell 100 mile bike race in August). Down to 196-199 from 328 in August.

I've been running Insanity the past 7 weeks. Currently on day 45 of 63. Skipping the recovery day for a full body lift once a week. As well as mixing in a couple mile run or two a week. Down from 6'2", 232 to 225.

Hoping to jump head first into half marathon training after the 9 weeks. Been a bucket list item for years and there's one that works logistically and for my calendar in early September.
 
Well this should make for an interesting race. This is before we start.....

last week was cardio, this week weights, next week mixed cardio/ weights. I have to mix it up or i will get bored. down to 188 last time i checked. looking at a triathlon at the end of July so i will start a triathlon work out the first week of July. Training swimming and transitioning between disciplines will be a challenge for sure
 
Got into keto almost 2 months ago. 224lbs to 208. Starting to incorporate excersise now. Mostly hiking and running. My day job gets pretty physical this time of year scouting crop fields for farms so that helps add some extra miles each day. Aiming for 180 by deer season.

I've been doing intermittent fasting and working out for 7 weeks so far I dropped 22 pounds..... Im at 225 now I'm trying to get to 215 I think that will be a practical weight for me at 6'4"

Holy crap I hope it was a golf cart Trail LOL
Actually it was a ski resort. Some of it was cross country ski trails, but at least 6-7 miles was up and down the slopes.

It's taking a lot of work to get up to the level I need for next month's race.

I can't wait for that one to be over.
