View attachment 1649 These are venison wrapped in bacon. The center is a stuffed jalapeño filled with cream cheese. Then wrap venison sliced like a thick bacon and wrap that with bacon flavor of your choice. Apple flavor or maple go well with this. They were supposed to originally be bite size but hell go big or go home!
One of my favorite

Have you guys tried the sous vide cookers?

I've been using mine for about 4 years. It's an awesome way to cook meat. When I first started, it was cook sous vide and finish with either the searzall or mega hot cast iron to get the crust. Now I've started cold smoking before vacuum sealing to add some natural smoke prior to a sous vide cook. It takes it to another level. Regardless, Sous vide is a real panty dropper. I recommend it to everyone.

Supper tonight since you guys got me feeling self conscience about my gut. It’s like birth control at bedtime. But on a happy note, I lost 2-3 pounds since Monday.

I've borrowed one several times, but finally got my own this week. I'm pretty excited to try it out.

What happened to the diet food and imitation rice. I’m starting to think the whole fitness thread was a bunch of BS!

Believe it or not, this recipe perfectly fit into that diet I was on. High fat, ultra low carb. But, the wife kicked me off that diet because she was tired of cooking 2 meals.

I figured I’d drag this thread back up.
Since I started it, I figured I didn’t have to follow the intent of the thread and stick to game meat....

This was dinner last night.
Chicken satay with a peanut dipping sauce, and a Thai salad with cabbage, mango, red pepper, green onion, kale, basil, cilantro, and a Thai peanut dressing....

And here is a teaser for tomorrow’s lunch.
