Speculating, because the pictures look pretty similar...
The linked item above is a 3/4 inch width, 1.6" loop size lightweight webbing. If it's the same stuff, the wholesale price was around $2/meter with a 1,000 meter minimum (plus shipping cost and wait from China). Now, if you sold that at just $1/foot you'd be making money on it, but you'd have to invest $2k in it and wait for delivery to do that, and I decided not to. I DOUBT it'll be just $1/foot when heavier versions are about .90/foot AND they're out of stock everywhere. Again, this is just speculating, but if this is what Tethrd is going to be offering, kudos on sourcing and investing it to make it available in reasonably priced amounts for the rest of us to consider
If the doublesteps.com woven daisy chain webbing comes back in stock any time soon we'll have more options and can pay for the lighter version if we want, and hopefully won't face out-of-stock situations as much.
