Good luck to y'all that are out hunting! Season opens next weekend here, wanted to do a little last minute scouting this weekend. But me and the mrs welcomed our second kiddo yesterday, a 8 lb 10 ounce boy that was 3 weeks early! Man, my 2 year old already tries my patience with her not listening and doing what she wants. I expect it'll only get worse from here on out! Lol
 
I went to run some cameras earlier and went on by my target buck bedded up. I wasn't 20 yards from him, just went on by like I didnt see him and he never moved, just watched me pass. 5 minutes or so when I came back through he had slipped out. I just got a pic of him at the same spot, so I didnt spook him it seems. Sure hope the predicted wind for next weekend changes and I get a chance to goScreenshot_20190921-212427_SPYPOINT LINK.jpg
 
Headed to an area I scouted in the summer. I had to call an audible when a little creek that’s typically easy to cross was flooded badly. Didn’t realize how high the river was. Chose a tree in the dark and climbed up. We will see what today brings!

I tried Saturday. I don’t know what I did. I’m thinking I slid my tab up to the bottom of the arrow instead of stopping at my fixed crawl. Going to try the same tree Thursday evening but am considering taking the compound instead of the recurve. There’s a buck bed I want to hunt Saturday and I’m pretty sure I can’t setup in range of the little island with my recurve. It would be a big confidence booster to run an arrow through a doe Thursday. Either way good luck to the rest of you. If we all kill a twelve point and a doe would should have it in the bag. Of course I’ve yet to kill anything over an eight.
 
First sit tonight and I saw 4 does! Nothing I was willing to shoot. Goodluck to all of team 8!!!
 
I went and preset some sticks today at a spot I've got a good buck traveling through every evening. Little awkward to get into but it was the tree to be in. I should of ordered some bolts and a drill for this spot, but I made it work. Come on saturday!Screenshot_20190924-211402_Gallery.jpg

Love your mixed use of different climbing methods to make it work! I'm like this team! I just got my email confirmation today that my Aerohunter Kite has shipped. I cannot wait to shoot out of it rather than my sitDrag for a change...
