Just received my Tethrd Hys Strap in the mail today. Had I known it was made in China, I would not have purchased it. The only way the consumer was to know this is by receiving the product, as there is no indication of country of origin on the Hys Strap product page.
This seems very deceptive advertising (or lack of advertising), in that the American Flag and Made in America/USA are prominent on (almost) all of the Tethrd products. In fact, at the bottom of their home page, there is a Made in USA symbol both before and after where it says Tethrd - Get Connectd/Copyright 2018! I guess they need to update that.
If shipping it back wasn't so expensive (as a percentage of the product price), I would do it and just make my own.
Curious how many other products are not made here in the US and not labeled as such on the Tethrd site. Every product that I see on Amazon, etc. indicates the country of origin, so much so you would think there is a law to ensure the consumer is aware of it.
For what it is, the product is fine. I just would like to keep my money supporting local manufacturers.
