Toyo AT Tires - anyone have experience with them

Anyone have any experience with the Toyo Open Country A/T II tires? Need to replace my truck tires and want something a little e more aggressive but not terrible on the road. Looking at this Toyo tire or the Kumho AT tires. Mostly for mud - little ice/snow

I’ll second this opinion. Been running General Grabber AT2s for years now. They do great on the road, excellent in the snow, and pretty dang good in mud. Also no issues hydroplaning in rain.

Toyo makes good tires. No experience with that model in particular. I’m buying BFG KO2’s when mine give up. I suggest you look into them.

Falken wild peakes are my go to tires especially in the snow and mud..i rarely and i mean rarely have to use my 4 wheel drive in 12 inches of snow

I’ve ran the Toyo AT 2 as well as their MT, both great tires. The AT’s grip like Velcro when driving in our once a year MS ice/snow storm. Now I am running BFG KO2’s, really happy with them so far as well.

Toyo AT2 has 3 different ‘options’ as far as aggressiveness goes. Their XT sizes are the most aggressive, and their P sizes(not recommended for trucks) is the least aggressive. None of them are noisy on the hwy in opinion, and do pretty good in mid and stuff. If you get some icy roads over there in TX you’ll be happy too ha.

I’ve got 20k mi on those Toyo Open Country AT II’s on my 1st gen Tundra. Seem to be holding up well for a 65k mi tire. Good offroad traction without a lot of highway noise. Put them on last Jan, so far pretty happy with them.

Just put these on my f150 in September before i went to Idaho on an elk hunt. Did great on the drive from Penn. and back and did great in the snow. So far i don't regret getting them.

When I was looking at tires seems I remember the Toyos being heavier. I went with the General Grabbers. Love them. Wallet loved them too.
