So I have been using a back pack the past couple of weeks and honestly not really a fan. Lately for me it been creating alot of noise especially when I am climbing a tree. Do any of you guys use backpacks?

Honestly i don't have alot of stuff. I mainly use it to carry my pole gaffs, my bow hanger and my calls.

Yes. Still trying to minimize what the pack contains though. Climbing method and perch will be the regulars for sure. Ozonics as well, but all else is negotiable. Really all items are negotiable depending on the hunting scenario

Ozonics? You actually you that on your stand lol I use mine only in my container.

Sometimes I don't, I will attach everything to my RCH via pouches and attach my LW sticks around my waste with my stand slung over my shoulder and carry my bow, super light and easy setup. If not I use a backpack and practice with it in the off season, usually I use the backpack in cold weather when I have more clothes

This year I switched to a fanny pack for the essentials (license, Amsteel gear hanger, milkweed, rangefinder, etc) and only use a backpack for all day hunts.
Do you carry your platform in or strap it to your saddle?

I hang it from two J clips attached to the molle loops on the back of my saddle. I have a Predator with 1/8” Amsteel daisy chain, which wraps around the Predator and sits in the J hook.

Don't really carry a backpack anymore. This is everything needed to ascend to hunting height and rappel out after.2020-01-10 11.47.41.jpg

If i didn't self film I would only bring a fanny pack on anything over 50 degrees. It's amazing how little you really need to bring along when killing stuff :)

So, apologize for momentarily jacking this thread but... this may be the best post of 2020 so far. Did anybody else know about Allegheny Wholesale prior to this!?!?

M65 liners for $7 = AWESOME.
