Nice build! Looks awesome.
This is a really nice job OP. I want to hear about how you covered those lineman's loops and what material you used. I have just tubular webbing over mine but it isnt rigid enough.
mine is just heavy duty 3/4 in tubular webbing , not sure of brand ... it is a little stiffer because it’s only 3/4 in and gets real tight after it’s sewn ! I still may put a few zip ties or try and stuff an extra piece of webbing material in before I sew it , to stiffen it more ....This is a really nice job OP. Main was approx 96inches to start then I cut off extra after the overlap ...bridge loops were 16 in total - 6 in webbing in middle - ...linesman Loops were 10in total with 9inch of webbing but the entire webbing was 70 in to start and trimmed at the end ... good luckCould you please give me the measurements of the webbing materials and measurements of the where and how long the loops are. 4 of them. The lineman belt, the comfort channels from the main saddle and the leg straps. It would be really helpful. I am just trying one now.
Thank you.
Belt is 60 inches ...Sorry the main belt also..
I'm using 1 inch tubular webbing over 1 inch tubular webbing. The I sew a line down the middle of the linemans loop and put 1 heavy duty zip tie down each side. Thanks! This is really helpful. Is this the method you use @always89?

Not mine. $189 singer 4452Nice work ! Is your sewing machine anything special, a commercial model perhaps ?
My wife won't let me touch her expensive machine.

I did a video of my build. Linemans loops start at about minute 58 on the 3rd video:
This method seems to work pretty good and makes a really stiff linemans loop.
Awesome looking build you have here!

Yep! I watched the video and imitated your method on 3 saddles (updating old kestrel clone, new phantom clone for me, new phantom clone for brother)
It worked beautifully, thanks for the info
