I’m thinking about getting back into a saddle and Which saddle is more comfortable for people who are using a ROS?

Can a mod move to the correct section for me. Posted it in the wrong place.

I haven't had a ton of sit time in mine yet, but hands down Cruzr XC for me.

Several good saddles in order of sitting comfort
1. Jx3 is the best
2. Crüzr XC excellent
3. Flex, H2 or a recon. All are very good
I will be trying a Tx5 which I expect will be very comfortable.

You can’t go wrong with any of them. But some have other features like nicer lineman’s loops or better bridge or nicer leg straps that could be talked about. Or no knee pads or pack needed with a jx 3 or how easy it is to wear the saddle in to the tree

I am getting to know my Recon and the more I use it the more I like it. Had both a JX3 and Guidos Web both comfortable but not my thing. Where the Recon seems to shine is the ability to adjust it to provide back support whilst sitting. Of the commercial saddles I’ve tried this is the most comfortable for the sitter.

Now for carrying ropes and pouches it is still a work in progress for me anyway.

Yes I have not tried the recon for hours yet. It takes a bit more adjusting to be just right.
Whereas the cruzr XC. Just open the pleat set your bridge or tether anywhere and be comfortable.
I have sat in the cruzr for two four hour sits turkey hunting.

I think the recon may be equal to a cruzr with a bit of adjusting, but I am not positive yet. It does provide great back support
I am going to try and add some fleece to my recon.

The H2 cups your butt nicely and provides uniform pressure on your butt
The flex is like the cruzr but the material in a cruzr has more give around the boney areas of the hips. The cruzr material is less bulky too

The recon allows the pressure points to be spread over four straps and those straps can be moved off the boney parts of your hips. It provides support where you want it.

Jx3, no knee pressure, no hip pinch, a touch harder to climb with, no pack needed, a touch harder to shoot from, more bulk, and feels light to carry. The most comfort.

The Crüzr is very well built and designed and comfortable. I like the leg straps, belt, stitching, bridge, and lineman’s loops.

All these saddles are great for sitters but provide comfort in very different ways

Do you still have the JX3 I traded you? I agree with the above comments: if you are going to sit, the JX3 is the way to go. Have fun and be safe.

No I got rid of it. Could not get used to it.

I've had multiple saddles, and in my opinion, the Cruzr XC is the most comfortable I have owned, by far. I am a sitter 98% of the time and the Cruzr is now my primary.

On a side note, aside from a DIY fleece saddle (which in and of itself was quite comfortable, but not user friendly with my hand muff so its long since been retired) I have not used a saddle that is built with anything other than mesh. I prefer mesh saddles for their stretch factor, cooling properties in early season and ability to quickly add something for warmth later in the season.

JX3 is the best for a sitter. It’s like sitting in a Summit Viper but you are in a saddle

If you can find one, a treesuit is a very comfortable saddle for sitting. I have been using one (modified) since 2003 and have had many naps in it over the years. I like mine so much that I bought a second one on the classifieds here just to make sure I can keep using one in the future.

I think I’m going with the flex or Cruzr Xc. Leaning more towards the flex
