Anyone still waiting on Beast sticks order?

I placed an order in January for a pre order in April. Keep getting emails they are delayed. I have emailed them and they are apologetic about the delay and said I should get them in June. Still waiting 3 months later (6 months total), anyone have past dealings with Hunting Beast gear? Are they usually behind like this? They seem like nice people and I don’t want to give them a bunch of crap, thought I’d ask the group here instead. Thanks guys
 
That’s been the norm recently, originally there was a limited run & everyone ordered in a frenzy until they were gone. Recently they shifted to pre-orders, that means you’re definitely waiting on the supply chain. Quality product & worth the wait! They were cool to deal with , imagine it’s pretty standard for preorder scenarios
 
I also ordered one in February and ended up cancelling the order a couple weeks ago. No offense to beast gear. I’m sure they are great sticks and nice people. Mario was very nice to deal with. I know COVID and the riots were not their fault either. But I’ve just waited so long for all this awesome hunting gear we all love so much and I just can’t do another one right now.

I just wanted to try different things at this point and can’t justify both. Maybe I’ll still order a stick or two sometime down the road if/when they ever become more available.

I’ll be honest I wish the gen 1 sticks were still being made. I would have stuck it out as long as it took for one of those.

That makes sense with the supply chain. Yeah, they are great people. I’m keeping my order, fingers crossed they get here before the deer opener.
 
You will get your gear. Might be alittle longer then expected. The last I saw they are caught up on original sticks. Just the minis are behind. I am waiting on one as well. I am pretty sure it will show up by August. Great sticks worth the wait.
 
Par for the course...

They have always had supply chain issues. Waiting on the slow boat from China. I guess that is to be expected.
 
I wish they would have them made here in the USA. Never know maybe at some point they will.
 
Dan has been talking about bringing the production to the us. Whatever the new machine shop he teamed up with may be able handle the capacity. So I guess we will see.

I thought they were made here!? That’s why I spent the extra money. I figured he was renting/using the CNC at his work to make them on the side.
 
The extrusions are done in China. I am not sure where the final machining and anodizing is done. The buttons and bolts are made in the us I am pretty sure.
 
If the sticks start being made in the US, I will likely order one or a set then.

Hopefully this doesn't come off as rude. I am just curious, why are you set on getting them directly from them? If you buy on the classifieds here or on FB, you can get them cheaper (usually) and in a few days you'll have them (vs a long pre-order). And if you want to hold out for the V1 sticks, it's no big deal, just keep an eye out until they drop. Or put an ad out WTB V1 Beast Sticks and let them come to you.

Or is it solely to support Dan?

The beast sticks go pretty quick in the classifieds and I ordered the mini stick Version. Chances of me finding what I want and catch it in time is possible but not good. Just rather order them. I want to support Mario and Dan, love what They put out there.
 
I like mine, but I feel there is just as good of options out there. My hawk's work just as well as the beast sticks.

I like the fancy EWO made in the USA sticks better than beast sticks. I like the sewn aider too. And you can get them now.
