Had some time today so I decided to try and make a smaller, cleaner hanger. This time around I used 1/2" pvc and the oven instead of plumbers torch.
Started with a 12" stick and marked where I wanted the bends. Put the stick on some foil in the oven already preheated to 350 degrees for 8 minutes. The stick became extremly pliable at this point.
I clamped it down into a jig I made and let it cool off.
About 10 minutes........still needs paint or camotape, but turned out way better than version 1.0
I ended up cutting the jig, and threw an allen key in at the clip bend as it was pinched way to tight to slide down my diy hys strap.
Last pic just showing where to adjust for wider bow limbs (move red stop block right and add spacer at green arrow)
