My Phone in the woods is for emergencies. It comes out to check time and wife comms. I get tore up enough missing out on a kill opportunity. I’d probably shoot my phone if I blamed it for failing to kill.

I always wondered how often I miss deer walking by from being on the phone, well since I tagged out fairly early I've been going with my son and can confirm he had no ideal twice that there were deer inside 10 yds til I tapped him on the shoulder lol

No cell service where I live so don't have one to drop. Do you find it necessary to be tethered to a phone along with a tree? When I am hunting I am hunting not playing with a phone/computer.
Your quickness to judge others just speaks loudly about yourself. Glass house and all. Seriously though, try to be positive. Cheers.

I keep mine in my cargo pocket (if something happens I always want it on me)....might look into a way to tether it to me like a wallet chain. If they don't make an iPhone case like that already....then that might be a good idea for someone to produce....patent pending, of course.

I envy the guys who can hunt without a phone. I would love to, but my job is a 24hr job, I often hunt with my son and I can't relax not having coms with the family. Anything that can break at home will do so while I'm hunting!
To those with no phone, you are certainly at an advantage.
To those with a phone, I feel your pain!

I keep mine in a pocket I can reach in the saddle. Just for emergencies and I need to call for help. Some type of tether case like that may be useful though.

I think we all carry a phone for these types of reasons.

It’s the guys that have to bring extra chargers because they run their batteries dead scrolling through Facebook for 5 hours without hardly ever looking up for deer people give a hard time.
