What did you NOT buy today?

I didn't buy this vintage camo fleece set, but it is mine now, got skinny enough to wear it and raided it from my wife's vintage clothing business's stock.

Dude the pockets on this thing are awesome. My new primary cool to cold weather outfit for sure.

I did not buy a new browning BT99 Trap gun. I keep telling myself that my O/U does just fine but I sure do want one.

What really makes you feel bad is when you buy something you already had once and sold. Done that a couple times and always feel like an idiot. The urge to sell can be just as bad as the urge to buy.

I know the feeling. During a big selloff/downsizing a few years ago I made a deal with myself to stay motivated to keep selling. Decided that after selling everything off, if I really need another one I'd replace it with something better than before. Ended up only replacing one thing, a barrel for a Contender pistol that I really liked. Replaced the factory one for a used custom that shoots twice as good as the old one.

All in all, the money that was sitting there collecting dust got converted into more useful things. If all it ended up costing was a couple hundred bucks for a new barrel it was well worth the trade off.

You either had a great day or a lousy day!
You got the root canal or you got the Blackhawk?

I passed another JX3 on the classifieds. When I see one pop up I always want to get one. I tried one. It was comfortable. But I felt "trapped" in it. Would be sweet for gun season. Not for me bow hunting.

I have been very close to buying an angled Scout for a 1" stick- Its inevitable.
Working on a DIY platform, once i get to see some aluminum cnc contacts once field work gets more back to normal.
Also i held off on all the tempting merino camo xmas sales.

Sweet deal man! I'm battling an impacted wisdom tooth right now. Got a couple carabiners and an old whisker biscuit with your name on them
Haha sounds like a square deal to me! If you’re coming through western KY gimme a holler!

I haven’t bought anything since we refinanced our house and my wife saw the credit card bill from the prior month before i could pay it! That wasn’t pretty.

I do still watch a lot of Youtube videos showing me how great that JX3 is though.

Gotta say man... You sound like a really good dude to me. In my eyes, you're exactly how this world should operate; kindness and generosity.

Also, if this thing don't turn the corner in a day or two I may be making a special trip to western Kentucky :flushed:

Well I appreciate that man! I just like helping people out!

Talked myself out of ordering a prussik tender and Predator platform hanger from Genesis 3D, for now. He's making some cool stuff but I don't really need it when I can accomplish the same tasks with stuff that I already have.

I know have a google doc that has all 850 something albums on it. Before I buy....I do some research into my existing library.

Check out an app/website call Discogs. I keep my vinyl, 8 tracks and even rare CD's in there. It even helps with tracking rare versions and pricing.

I have a list of stuff from EWO that I want to buy to try one sticking but I was hoping to wait and see if there will be a meet up soon so I can try some stuff out before dropping the cash. However, I now see that the government is giving me $600 of my tax money back
