What did you NOT buy today?

I didn’t buy a new winch bumper for my sequoia even tho they’re 20% off. I tried to use that as justification and failed. I suck.

i didn't buy tethrd knee pads after looking at a thread about how great they are

i lean most of the time and knee discomfort isn't an issue for me

i already have the arcteryx, which i'm guessing are thinner and lighter and so take up less room in my pack

That sounds like a lot of work. I had enough trouble tying the knot and getting the step tight enough in ideal conditions, I wouldn't care to do it leaning down to untie and all that. It would definitely be light but the EWO stick is tough to beat with a cam cleat. I tried a Hawk mini before I got the EWO, but the standoffs kicked out too much.
that said, I started with 3-4 WE stepps and knaider/swaider or Cain method and it was compact, I just got tired of tying and managing the ropes. They had a little too much s/s play for me too, although that was probably user error. Different strokes for different folks... Good luck

To the OP, I didn't buy yet another pack today. I've been looking at the Huntworth Hickory and Trophyline Platow. But I already have too many. the search for the holy grail will have to wait until I downsize, but I tend to be a hoarder

I started with them too and got tired of the knot. But figured why not try it again lol

Lots of stuff I don't buy everyday but only because I can't afford to (Ferrari's, custom Peterbilts, 1000's of acres in various states etc...) but I ain't doing without any hunting gear that I even think I need.

You know the saying "He who dies with the most toys wins"? Well I'm tryin to win! HAHA!!

I did this, as most of us do. I had the EWO 1 stick in a cart like 30 times. Never pulled the trigger. The the UP hit… oops.

But today I might have tossed 4 beasts sticks and the connector rod in a cart….twice. But didn’t buy.

Just got done watching Yellowstone on my new big ass 75” tv. So I guess Santa already been here… for now anyway.

I drove out to the local archery shop and test fired a TenPoint Siege crossbow. My Excalibur is around a decade old....slow and very wide/cumbersome.

Sweet bow. The shop has 5 or 6 of them hanging/in stock. Wouldn't deal on price this go round, so I left. Got some emails out to other TenPoint retailers to see if they can do a better price. May have to go in there with an "offer".....he covers tax and includes a pack of luminok arrows.....that would get me to pull the trigger sooner this year.

But man...that was a sweet xbow...loved the feel, great trigger, very accurate, reasonably quiet (for an xbow) and really nice scope/reticle on it. It was hard leaving with money still in the bank account. LOL
