Weekends are for the wife this time of year. I don't even ask. She is super cool and supportive of my whitetail and turkey addiction during the seasons. I call January through March wife season. Give it a go yourself. Come home with a bottle of wine and when she asks you "what's the occasion?". Tell her it's wife season. Ya all can thank me in the morning.

Exactley what I do. I have fishing season, hunting season and Lynda season. with her birthday and valentines falling in her season.
Honestly the last couple years she has had a way better season than me.... at least thats how I promote it

We think too much alike. Lorie's birthday was yesterday. Lol

Yup. Tis the time of year to start building a surplus of brownie points. Taking the wife and kids to Myrtle Beach in April to hang out with some relatives. Also planning some touristy stuff in Michigan's UP over the summer as well during our annual 4th of July trip. Hoping to bank at least one out of state hunting trip this year.

Take her for a boat tour in Picture Rocks in the UP. You'll like it too.

Definitely wife season, the little lady gets first pick on weekend activities.

But, it’s also duck season and habitat season on private land!

That sounds like a great idea..... But I’m not ready to settle down yet :tearsofjoy: I’m expanding this year and going to musky fish Virginia and turkey/deer hunt PA as well as my home state, etc.... if anyone has a couch and good fishing or hunting, let me know! Haha.

I'm all about turkey hunting Pa. Call me in April. Till then... it's wife season.

Yes it is wife season this weekend at the camp. I’m watching the kids, cooking and everything else while she hunts. This is her second free weekend at the camp so she already killed a doe, from a box stand, but is buck hunting this weekend. She has not been successful in a saddle yet but she’s got it bad and it’ll happen next season.

This thread is hilarious and on point, albeit it's hard water season for me, which is six of the best 18 weekends outdoors (archery/ice fishing/summer bass). My way better half gets most if not all of the other 34 weekends.

Heading out to chase the perch as I type!
