Two more weeks until my season starts....

anyone here doing any hunting trips this year? I have an annual sika trip second week in October and I am doing a boat in then hike in a bit further trip locally here in PA for a long weekend or two for bear and deer in early November.

I got my eyes on a couple hammers here in iowa. I'll send some pics later on. Fingers crossed and can catch up with one of them. Still two weeks away and I'm way too antsy

I'm going to NY for a week at the end of Oct. 50% over last 4 years. I like hunting NH, but would really like to hunt other parts of the country.

I wish I was a headlight on a north-bound train

What part of NY are you headed too? I am going to hunt up there next year on the west side of the state with a buddy. Remove NYC and it’s actually a nice state.
If you do hunting trips right it can really be inexpensive. I think there are mixed ideas how much it costs to hunt out of your home state as well as some great opportunities in some states you wouldn’t think about hunting in. New York has a lot of opportunities for some big whitetail and bear, not to mention the waterfowl and woodcock.

Around the finger lakes. I really like the outfitter & group of guys we go with. Cost isn't really the limiting factor for other trips - more so time away from family...

Hey fellow Saddle Team VI members, here's my very very feeble attempt at a team avatar for the 2021-2022 Contest. If someone else has a better one please use that but I thought I'd get the ball rolling. Team 6 2021-2022 .jpg

Now that we have a logo maybe we should put some points on the board. I’ll be working on it this coming weekend.
