I have been doing SRT from the start but just bought everything to do a single stick as a backup when I go into new areas and don’t have preset paracord in the trees. So I am excited to learn a whole new method but also getting into it to late and in the year. I am sure it will be a learning curve I should have started weeks ago
 
Season hasn’t started here but in PA yet. Opener is next weekend. My wife planned for my I laws to come in so I doubt I will even get out the first day... we are pregnant with our first and my mother in law wanted to come visit and paint the nursery. The following weekend I am hunting out of state for some sika though.

Was out again this afternoon. Wind was tough, felt like a carnival ride in the 7" maple a few times. Only saw 1 deer - which was spooked and ran up past me abt 40yds away. 5 sits so far and nothing to show for it. Should be back at it Weds morn.

Hey guys...for those of you who haven't seen my interview with Chad & Cameron from Exodus cameras you might want to watch...The reason I'm bring this to your attention this Friday Michigans bow opener the wind will be a direct East wind...ive harvested most of my bucks scoring well over 150 on east wind set-ups...its the wind that will allow you to take a higher risk and move in on a bucks known bedding location and score....Enjoy

My hunting will not start until next week. My in laws were in this weekend helping with some projects around the house. Saw 5 deer in the yard this morning though.... 20 yards from my tree stand.
 
Was out this morning. Quiet sit, except for the squirrels and acorns. But I did some scouting on the way out and came into some hot sign. Back at it tomorrow afternoon...

My anniversary got in the way of hunting this weekend. Does team six have any points on the board yet?

Got out yesterday afternoon. Our opener here in NY. One doe and one large coyote came under my stand that was it.
