Yep Treehopper is making the windwalker $189. He has the fleece backback to put it in also $140…. limit will be available in the next couple months.

That's more interesting than anything I've seen from ATA so far. Wouldn't mind giving Mark more of my business either. Great customer service and fast shipping.

Maybe it’s because I’m only a season old in the saddle world, but all this stuff looks cool. That cruzer platform looks the best.

No, it’s not because of that. There is some really cool stuff.

Seconded... get used to constantly thinking there are better options than what you're currently using ... my setup has changed a TON after only 2 seasons hunting from a saddle... current assembling a beast mini one stick setup... will probably but 2 additional sticks in case I don't dig the one sticking and I'm going to try out the method 2 saddle this spring and summer to see if I wanna go away from the Phantom

The timber ninja stuff is very interesting. I maybe looking at the sticks with the new standoff and aluminum steps. The stand is cool but I don’t use them enough to justify.
The latitude platform looks like a uterus to me. It’s a hard pass.

with probably $200 shipping…I love love my C1s but I can’t believe they get away with $90 shipping for a set of 4.

It was $37.52 for a 3 pack to my house.

Or free from the Meateater, but the camo sticks cost more.

The .75 is about the only thing that really caught my attention. Wish it was about 2 in longer to match the beast stand but if I can get away from the popping noises so be it.
Won't be spending nearly as much on gear this year as Im saving my pennies for an ebike

The Timberninja stand is rumored to have a price tag of $1,200

Wow! I want them to be successful but I would think that’d be hard for most to justify because of LWCG and the beast stand. Then again I guess I won’t be shocked if it goes the other way and they can’t keep ‘em in stock.

There have been a couple of threads about the Beast making a popping noise. That's why I didn't buy one.
I’m not a stand guy anyway and I’m sure the popping could be resolved. My point is more to fact that I would take a 6.5# aluminum stand over a 6.5# carbon fiber any day. If they are not going to beat the aluminum stand weight then why bother?

If cost was equal, as well as strength and longevity, there could be some advantages to CF over aluminum even if weight was equal.

But those initial conditions aren't likely the case, so I agree.
