Do you live under a rock? It's like you poke your head out sometimes to poke fun or shoot a deer and then go back under.Who is we're??
Treat him right. I too am a UPS driver. What to buy the ups driver for Christmas? You know the one that helps you keep all the new gear coming in hidden from the wife.

Goodness Cajun, an hour to climb and set up? Are you growing the tree first? Joke.....I'm sure the next podcast should help reduce that time. This is a good question.
I think it would also be good to discuss how long it takes to get up a tree (say 20-25 feet) and get set up. It currently taking me about an hour from the base of the tree till ready to hunt. Then about 30 mins to get down. This is important if your want to be set up before daylight or get out of the tree before it's it's pitch dark.

Agreed. When you prep a few trees then you sort of feel drawn to them and will likely hunt on even if it isn't ideal. Are you currently using sticks???No, but I'm also not going out and prepping trees in advance. To me that severely limits the choices you have for hunting on the fly.
I have areas picked but I'll move from one tree to another depending on wind, deer movement ect.

Cajun, if you use SRT(Single Rope Technique) you can have a bunch of cheap cord already hanging and you can walk in, pull up your rope and you are done in 10 minutes. Setup as many trees as you can, and you will have a ton of options. Add an XOP hand climber and you can climb any tree that a normal tree climber can use.
