2022 Trash Talk

I’m going to move to FL in October with a busted patellar tendon and still kill more deer than @Weldabeast with my eyes closed.

Well, not literally because that would be dangerous, unethical and I already have a hard enough time killing deer as it is.

But wait…back to trash talk!
You can’t hit deer the size of coon hounds with your eyes closed believe me I’ve tried. Lol but if you drive 55mph with the head lights on and the horns blowin, the deer will get you every time

Oh man I got skunked like crazy last year but I've earned my first 7 points ever lol. Gotta make the teams so I can finally get on the board!

Edit- Ah shoot I already got a shout from @boyne bowhunter I've got to start being an annoying , overanxious newbie again before people think I know what I'm doing! Oh wait, still am, limited chances of that!
Wait you stopped being a newbie? We all call 7pts beginners luck

Everyone… I just did a quick history search and it looks like this fella posted the same buck three years in a row as his saddle kill… and I also talked to his insurance claim adjuster and they said they received the same photo and verified he hit it with his truck… soooo
The problem with this story is that trucks usually go over the spotted fawns so collision is avoided lol and we all know ol @Nutterbuster drives a prius

Yep. 9" of clearance means you miss too many of our smaller deer. 3" and you nail center body mass. Less FOC and not enough mass for the Ashbians compared to a full-sized truck, but with smaller deer it gets the job done.

Well while you boys are doing arts and crafts, the rest of us will lighting up the scoreboard
While using the fruits of our labor ..... ur welcome

Me personally, I didn't sign up expecting to kill anything....I'm just here to try and keep my other teammates spirits up and post pics of snakes and flowers and try to install doubt and lack of confidence into opposing teams

In reality, I’m right there with ya. I’ll consider myself lucky to submit one shot from the saddle. It’s more about the fun of the competition and seeing everyone post than winning anything.

oh but wait since this is a trash talk thread…ra ra ra go my team and we’re gonna kick yer butts!

I had a small spike volunteer to wipe some of the mud off the truck bumper this morning. Advantage of good ground clearance is he went under the bumper and came out running on the other side without messing up my truck. I think I need to have a discussion with him in a couple of years though about not leaving all that hair behind when he's done polishing the bumper.

Old nutty tried to get 5 points with his Trail Blazer while we were going to get his boat a few years back. He looked at me and with his eyes said, “five points?” And proceeded to slam the gas. Luckily he must of remembered he already entered a doe that year and hit the brakes last minute. Back then he was less prejudice on how he killed them. That was the year he was going for 20 lol!
I guess as long as he had his saddle in the car ?? Hey.

I don’t think he wore a saddle that whole weekend. I think that was also when he decided climbing trees wasn’t that much fun anymore lol

I won’t lie I was a little scared, I really thought he was gonna do it. Lol
But did his blazer have “bucket” seats? That might count for another contest so…

Does this count as saddle hunting? I see no where in the rules that said you need to be in a tree, just a saddle

As long as you’re wearing scentlok’s new suit it counts….
Seriously I have had so many people ask me if it’s hard to shoot animals from horse back that it’s depressing
