New Gear for 2023, Go!

No that would have been the hand climber assault, this is the alpha size sit and climb.

I guess LWCG called dibs on an actual lightweight climber then?

The Alpha platform and hand climber top pairing didn't make much sense, imo.

It's nice to get sub 14 though with more to trim.

Yea These are the two I was thinking of. I use to have each at one point. I thought they were lighter but they both say 18lbs. If they cut 5 lbs thats significant. Sounds like he was something about a single arm that raises the support up in the center instead of on the sides for even more flat profile. Interested to see more looks at it.

Seeing these climbers makes me happy that I will at least have something to replace my lone wolf with when the time comes. Looking forward to the rest of the LWCG stand cause I just can't get on board with XOP. Maybe they're changing now, I don't know. They sure are trying to strike while the iron is hot.

If that LWCG stand is as small as it looks, heck you could just use that as a climbing platform and call it a day.

Good to know. I keep tossing around the idea of a lighter more packable saddle. This being 1lb? is an option. Initially I was considering a recon.

I do like the looks of that saddle. The magnet thing is really neat also. Hopefully it makes it to market.
