Question...block permits good for does only or can you shoot bucks? Do they let them run off n die or are u responsible for the meat n cleanup? Always wondered. Knew guys who would shoot and never go get unfortunately.

Why would anyone shoot an animal and let it go? I quarter and backstrap them and haul out on my Pack Seat and give the meat away. I would never just shoot one and leave it lay. I dug a hole w/a track hoe and bury the carcasses also.

You’d think people would want that here but instead they’d rather lease everything. Far cry from the way I grew up but we adapt. Are the good times really over for good or something.
 
So when is the actual sign up? I can’t read 100+ posts.
