@swampsnyper has let his boys shoot deer from his back patio on several occasions. I say kill em however you want lol!

Blowing doesn't always mean they saw/smelt/heard you. They can blow for the dumbest of reasons. I just had doe in front of me yesterday when they took off blowing. No way they smelt me. Wasnt 20 seconds after they took off a spiker came through looking for them. They snort at each other half the time

You said yourself she was blowing at another deer. They blow at all kinds of things for all kinds of reasons, including at other deer, all the time. It's a warning for that moment but that's it. I used to think the same thing. Hunts over time to pack it up. Now it's just another noise in the woods. The rest of your hunt probably went the same as it would have if she never made a peep
 
Bedding in front of me. River behind me. Nice cruising lane about 15 yards away. Just need some deer to show up. Will probably be my last sit in this area until after thanksgiving so anything legal gets an arrow tonight.

Good luck @bigmike23 !! Back to work for me today…. The best day of the week weather wise…. Grrr!! But then I’m back at it tomorrow and we have off Friday for Veterans Day observance. I feel like
Some bucks are going down today. I got completely skunked yesterday was out all day. Had a 2.5 yr old on my trail cam about 175 yards from me on trail cam but nothing I would want to shoot.
 
I may make another go at it today. If not, it won't be until the gun opener on Friday (cool and breezy with showers)....which I'm bowhunting. I'm seeing some north wind today and after tomorrow's little heat wave.
I've kept one property fresh on purpose. Ill be strictly saddle hunting and unless i decide to preset bolts, I'll be using WE steps for a first "real" hunt. I've practiced and find them stupid easy to use finally.
I'll try to shoot another doe or two on the property I shot the buck,, but unless something else shows up, I'm done there.

oh, how I miss those liberal doe tag limits. I have been looking to get some wild edge steps as well. They are growing on me after four years of watching from the wings.
 
Sitting between two saddles south of some dor bedding on the neighbors property. Seen lots of good bucks cruising through here over the years. Hopefully the wind shifts as predicted and they come through today

Can't. Total opposite wind tomorrow and would be a disaster. Plus a big warm up is hitting tomorrow. Couch sounds a whole lot better.
Was an amazing day all together. 10 bucks 2 of them shooters. Can't ask for a better day. Nothing kills my confidence quicker than not seeing mature bucks on stand and even just finally seeing one got me all perked up again

I know I’m debating if I should
Just go for it again tomorrow it’s supposed to be “much warmer” but science says photoperiodism rules and so they’ll rut whether it’s warm or not. It’s not super warm in the low to mid fifties for a high but I’m trying to
Maximize my time afield. Friday is better yet and I’m definitely going then but still on the fence about tomorrow.

We had that warm day 2 days ago and across 15 cams I had 2 pictures yes 2 pictures of doe in 12 hrs. Warm weather shuts them down immediately and all the chasing is at night. Friday we get a temp drop of 10 degrees and I'm gunna hit my #1 stand
