Well if finally happened today. As I climbed a huge oak in the middle of saplings and MTN laurel this morning, my third stick autisticly screeched when I stepped on top. It wiggles a teenie bit now but it makes a metallic noise.
Going back to my good ol fashioned beasts to finish out the year. On top of that those sticks are cursed. Somewhere out there a rando gypsy must have uttered a incantation to never allow a mature buck to pass within 500 feet of them.

Does tethrd warranty this even after the 1 year?

Beast sticks rule. I went back to them as I impatiently wait for a refund from Tethrd. Hopefully I see it this week or next. They couldn’t refund me on PayPal so they’re supposed to mail a check.

Man, after carrying 7lbs of beast sticks all season I was certain on getting the one sticks. Hope they get that figured out.

Confidence in these sticks keeping dwindling. Maybes design flaw, maybe china’s fault idk. Either way it was hard for me to buy them and now it’s hard for me to keep them.
After thoroughly checking my 4 sticks after the weekend, 3 of the 4 have a wobble, 2 are decently noticeable and 1 has slight movement.

Tethrd has already agreed to replace them and the stealth strips on them, just waiting for shipments.

All 3 are gen 3.
you gonna keep them or sell them off?

Thing is, seems a half once of material, or less, would strengthen the problem spot. So close to a winner.

Third (or fourth?) season on Gen 1 ONE sticks with no issues. Just used them for three weeks on cottonwood trees. Guess I just got a good set. Never even bothered with my LWCG doubles. Snap them together and then in the Stick Talon on the Kifaru and go (Predator inside).

The high price, recalls, and roll pin I think have made us view these sticks unlike any other.

2 or so of my standoffs wiggle a very slight amount, less than 1/64" for sure. If this were a more traditional, bolted stick that was the same weight and there weren't any past issues, then I don't think I'd have even noticed that amount of wiggle. It would have been totally expected due to tolerances. Now, here I am checking step wiggle and worrying about something that is likely harmless.

Unsure at the moment. I love the stacking and weight. Quick to tie and easy to climb, but I’m just tired of constantly having stuff have to be fixed by Tethrd.

Gun season starts Wednesday and I do a lot of that on private from box blinds. For one I don’t trust Joe public in my area to not shoot me. Two, we have a vacation that will have me out of the woods for 2 weeks until almost late antlerless in mid December.

All excellent points. If these sticks were 50-75 a piece it would be a different story. When you’re paying $125 a stick, every little thing is going to be a nuisance.

Again, I’ve had no issues with mine. I use four for all setups. Three I traded for on here and bought the fourth directly from Tethrd. I can’t speak highly enough about them. My only thing is the stand off distance could be slightly longer. Again, the OG ropes are junk. I upgraded to the RDA specific ropes. Awesome quality! I also added the G3D stacking clips to them.
