2024 Gear thread

They have a booth

Like the design intent for carry and as a quasi bow stand for indoors, the mount and that its USA made but it would be a brush and green briar snagger for the areas I hunt, and the price point a bit steep for what it is IMO.

Could be old news, but how fun, lol.

They‘ve a bow carrying handle at ATA

I didn't look into this but FYI everyone, climbing stores carry similar products. Can't tinkle on the climbers below you when big walling, haha

Interesting

Old news or not, thx for sharing. One of the best product posts on the thread. Just ordered 5. 3 for the vehicle glove boxes 2 for my packs. Until this year have been able to manage long sits without one. Guess that says I'm getting old...

Discount code "FREE".

I wonder if this affects the new Trophy Line climbing stick?

Probably going to boil down to the "proprietary" material properties of Magnite and whether it can be deemed an aluminum alloy. If so, you may be on to something there that could seriously shake things up.

May be the reason there is no pre-ordering yet.
You can bet Andre is all over it...

I am no patent expert. But i think the patent covers several items. Permanently attached steps and so on? May get interesting.

The standoffs are bolted on the Hyperlites, or so it appears
Looking again it does appear to be a single bolt. Wonder if that is enough to avoid patent infringement. It appears LWCG left that as an open area.

Not to further derail the thread over this but as I read it "double steps emanating from main support structure" if there is any percentage of aluminum to TL's material beyond magnesium and other materials, then it's all over. In addition to the other patented details @GeoFish pointed out also included in the patent for LWCG doubles.

I get the intent of wanting to corner a market with patents, but it also hinders competitive pricing. Would almost seem better (for the market as well as choices for the consumer) to have a "TMO" structure for stands and stick build similar to what AMO did for bow design.
