There comes a time in every man’s life that he needs an emergency slush fund. Yup, build it up slowly even if it is only $25.00 per pay check. Don’t use that money for anything other than for hunting or an absolute emergeny. If the car breaks down or refrigerator dies, not an emergency. Do not touch it, not for things you can actually live without. Depending on how you get paid, whether it be once a week or twice a month you could have $600.00 - $1200.00 in it after a year. After 5-10 years of doing this $3000.00 - $12,000.00 in your fund. Remember, that it is your emergency fund. Braces for the kids are not an emergency, nor is the bald tires on your truck.
