    Your height and stick step spacing

    I'm 5' 7" and I use 4 home made sticks with 21" step spacing and an aider that gets my foot 21" below the bottom step. I set my sticks so that the top step is at forehead height. With my aider looped on my stick my foot is about 24" above the step below. All together I get a little better than 20'.

    I have to agree. $580 is waaaaaayyyyyyyy too much for an arrow saw. I have a Weston 8000 RPM saw and it works just fine and I cut alot of arrow shafts. If set up right you won't have any problems.

    3/8" x 2" 6061 flat stock cut to 9". Measued down 1/2" and marked out the 1/4" holes 1/2" apart. I cut through the center of the holes on a verticle band saw with a gate.     Our local metal distributor sells 6061 for $2.40 a pound. Look in to someone local it will be much cheaper.
